AC Lens: Lentes de contact Cooper Vision Avaira Toric

Hello Skooter Blog readers. Today I talk about the purchase of two boxes lentes de counted Cooper Vision Avaira Toric in AC Lens, directly from the U.S..

I was using lenses Cooper Vision Biofinity Toric since I started using toric lenses. See items from my previous purchases in AC Lens for more information about the shop, and the lenses:

I decided to risk with Cooper Vision Avaira Toric to see if it would be better or worse than the Cooper Vision Biofinity Toric, because he was not fully satisfied with the latest. The boxes Avaira Toric are cheaper, but they are fortnightly instead of monthly, and it end up being a bit more expensive.

I was very pleased with the results provided by Cooper Vision Avaira Toric. At least in my eyes, they adapt better than Biofinity Toric. I do not know if it's because they are made of a different material or because they base curve 8,5 (against 8,7 the Biofinity Toric).

Com as Avaira Toric, I finally returned to have the same comfort he had with only spherical lenses. Posso ficar com elas por muito mais tempo do que com as Biofinity Toric. Dare to say that despite Avaira Toric serem quinzenais, elas duram mais que as Biofinity Toric mensais, at least in my eyes, pois as últimas Biofinity não estavam chegando aos 30 days without disturbing enough, and as Avaira eu preciso marcar a quantidade de usos para trocar na hora certa, as it passes from 15 applications without major problems.

The purchase was made in 28/11/2012 and posted on 04/12/2012. Usei o cupom EMRC5 to get a discount of $ 5,00. Escolhi a modalidade de envio “International First Class Mail”, which is the cheapest, but does not offer tracking beyond the borders of the USA. The tracking code beginning LN and ends in US. Here are the trace information within the US:

Service Type: International Letter

In mid-January there was still no sign package, então avisei a AC Lens sobre o atraso. Apologized and offered to send again. They also requested to verify that the package was not the Post Office (and was not). I replied that I would rather wait another two weeks to see if the package arrived late and then go back to contact. How not even arrived, I contacted, confirmed the address and made a new request. No give 30/01/2013 the replacement request was sent. The trace information in the U.S. were just so:

Service Type: International Letter

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time
——————————————————————————————————————-
Electronic Shipping Info Received February 7, 2013

And this second package arrived in my hands 04/03/2013. Package declared as containing “Contact Lenses”, and ticked the option “Merchandise”. The declared value was only U.S. $ 1,00. The package was not taxed.

Within the package the Invoice with zero values, the adhesive to paste in little boxes, discount coupon for the next purchase and, clear, two boxes of Contact Lenses Avaira Toric.

In mid-February appeared a notice of arrival taxed with a package code beginning in RA and ending in BR. Plan for data, is possible that the package was lost from AC Lens. The crap the IRS decided to tax the package and was curling up with him for over a month. The Post Office rather than enjoy the tracking code USPS (which begins in LN and ends in US) creates a new code that neither sender nor recipient has the know. I do not remember the exact amount of tax, but it was about R $ 40,00. Just in case I dropped the package there and he returned to the sender in the U.S.. If the package was AC Lens, I am glad we have received the first package back and have not been at a loss (if they did not secure). I also hope that the Postal Service and the IRS learn to correctly identify the packets that are taxing. A decent warning with country of origin information, sender, copy of the NTS, etc. is not too much to ask.

Follows the tracing of that package was returned to sender. I hope to finish this once and for all with the legend that no popular packages are auctioned, burned, pocketed by tax, etc. Perhaps this is true for products whose importation is illegal, counterfeit products and similar cases. But in other cases, the product really back to the sender. Of course there is risk of the package being stolen before returning, after all we are in BANANIA, where impunity for those who want to do it is guaranteed, more to “regraé que o pacote volte ao remetente.

And I'm ending here the article on lentes de counted Cooper Vision Avaira Toric with a recommendation for fairly positive lenses and also to the store, AC Lens, showed that not be a good shop just when everything goes right, but also in cases of lost packets. Share with your friends if you liked. If you also want to shop for contact lenses in AC Lens, directly from the U.S., click here and good shopping.

      Thank you, Saul.

Na coluna “Eye” tem olho direito e olho esquerdo.

“Power” é o grau esférico, “CYL” is the cylindrical and grade “Axis” is the axis. The values are in the recipe, just copy.

BC is base curve and diameter is DAY. Each lens model usually have only one base curve and diameter option. There are few cases in which you can choose.

The amount refers to boxes. If you ask 2 will be asking 2 sets of six lenses. Ask different quantities makes sense for those who use only one eye or lens uses exactly the same degree in both eyes (You can buy a box of 6 and use as if they were 3 pairs).

Hello, I found this blog a few months ago and haven't had the courage to try to buy lenses "outside", since here it is so expensive. I made a recent consultation in ophthalmology and there are already wear lenses 3 years, always bought the same brand and the same place the hefty price tag.
Needless to say, I took an earful of ophthalmology, Since my initial fitting wasn't an eye guy was with a ' contactista ", he wanted to do with a new adaptation by another brand that one of the shafts was wrong (Astigmatism + mild myopia).
So seeing these answers began researching if there is even the difference between revenue telescope and contact lenses. Up to see if he tried to correct this axis due to wrong. I found this article published in the scielo in the periodical "Brazilian Ophthalmology File".
From what I can conclude, It depends on, You can adapt very well your modify the recipe to glasses, or may need adjustments, It depends on the eye of each.
Draw their own conclusions, I found the article extremely enlightening, speaks of adaptation in detail, axis correction and cylinder, errors on adaptation etc..
    Enjoy:
