I face the same problem. I bought an Xbox controller 360 Wireless for Windows e um receptor genérico, which solved the connection problem by replacing the original id generic directly in the file “Xusb21.ini” and worked for a while. But now the controller does not connect more, follow the steps described above and still did not work. Any suggestions?

I ended up buying another Microsoft original control with the receiver. So I went back to using the original receiver.

Yeah, found on eBay Microsoft original receiver (At least the seller assured me that is original), I will buy it and hope will put to work. Another option is the kit “Play and Charge” that can be connected to PC USB port for communication and simultaneous charging controller.

He's just selling the separate receiver? Care because as far as I know Microsoft does not sell separate receiver, only with the driver from.

Yeah, o vendedor abriu a embalagem original do controlador e o retirou, me vendendo apenas o receptor. Tá funcionando normalmente aqui.
