Download das ISOs oficiais do Windows 10 sem o Media Creation Tool

A Microsoft permite baixar o Windows 10 diretamente de seu site sem precisar de autenticação. Isso vale para as versões Home e Pro, sendo que a versão Pro pode ser convertida para Enterprise ao colocar o número de série da mesma.

Para tanto, ela disponibiliza o software Media Creation Tool, o que pode ser um inconveniente.  Já aconteceu comigo do download ficar enroscado em 0% ad eternum.

Buscando por uma solução acabei encontrando uma no Pureinfotech, a qual reproduzo aqui. É possível baixar as ISOs diretamente da Microsoft sem precisar do Media Creation Tool ao configurar o navegador para informar um sistema não suportado pela ferramenta nos cabeçalhos do HTTP.

On Microsoft Edge

1. Open a new tab on Microsoft Edge.
2. Copy and paste this Microsoft support site link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO in the address bar, and press Enter. (If you get redirected, it’s an expected behavior.)
3. Right-click on the page and select Inspect element.
   Quick Tip: If you don’t see the option, open about:flags from the address bar, and check the “Show ‘View source’ and ‘Inspect element’ in the context menu” option.
4. Click on Emulation.
5. Under “Mode”, change the user agent string to Apple Safari (ipad).

Realizei o procedimento usando o Google Chrome, e funcionou perfeitamente. Apareceram os links para o download das ISOs de 32 e 64 bits do Windows 10. Os links são válidos por 24 horas e podem ser baixados com gerenciadores de download sem maiores problemas. Usei o Free Download Manager e o download foi concluído em poucos minutos.

Com a ISO baixada, usei o Rufus para criar um pendrive bootável.
