The Intelligent Fast Carregador 4 Canais Auto-Stop for AA/AAA/9V baterias 6F22 Bty (100~ 240V AC) (BTY Smart Auto-Stop 4-Channel Quick Charger for AA/AAA/9V 6F22 Batteries (100V ~ 240V AC) is the second product package that also came Universal Remote Control 10 Appliances TV / VCR / DVD / VCD / AUX / SAT. And as I informed other item, the purchase was made in DealExtreme in 21/08, posted at 24/08, arrived in 08/09, only in 2 weeks running, and was not taxed.
The charger, GN-N96 model, was purchased mainly for charging NiMH 9V batteries (Purchased na DealExtreme and whose review will be the next), since I already have a Sony Smart Charger w / LCD for AA and AAA batteries (c/ 4 independent cells) and also a more simplezinho charger Sony bearing cells only in pairs, but that is a little less demanding with regard to older batteries, while also charging the NiCd. But for 9V batteries have just a quick old charger unbranded, bearing AA / AAA / 9V, and that Smart has only one timer that switches from fast charge to trickle charge after 3 hours, and has been made just for NiCd batteries, in other words, would not be very wise to load the new NiMH 9V batteries in it.
So I ended up choosing this Intelligent Fast Carregador 4 Canais Auto-Stop for AA/AAA/9V baterias 6F22 Bty in DealExtreme, BTY the brand is not among the best Chinese brands, but the charger seemed little better than that of Soshine (one melhorzinha brand) by having 4 Individual cells (load cells individually and not in pairs). In view of these only two options, I opted for the BTY. The price of 9,25 USD is unbeatable when compared to Leadership chargers and the like we have here in Brazil (and that actually comes all China also). Furthermore, the BTY said to have overheat protection, overload and overvoltage, the plug is the American standard and it is multi-voltage automatic (the Soshine is bivolt manual, something I regard as exaggerated economy today).
The product came packaged only in a bubble wrap, What is a little weird considering that in the back of the product written “Read instruction before use!”. Eu, that instructions? I tested the charger with two 9V batteries, the light first turns red to show that the battery is charging, and changes to green when charging ends. The load was fast and the batteries have not even heat up (may already have been with a little load, not tested), but were apparently loaded. I will bring more information when you have more usage time.
