Hello Skooter Blog readers. Today I talk about LittleBigPlanet 2 do Playstation 3, acquired on Offerhouse. This is my second purchase in this store that sends Hong Kong to Brazil. The first was the Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit – Limited Edition at the end of last year.
Could have acquired the LittleBigPlanet 2 in ShopTo, but I did not for a few reasons. The main one is that the English version of LittleBigPlanet 2 sold in ShopTo only have English as, unlike first edition of LittleBigPlanet, I gained na ShopTo, I had several languages, including Portuguese from Portugal. I'm no fan of voiceovers, much less when they are done in Portuguese of Portugal, because it's easier to understand English (whose slang me are more familiar) the Portuguese of Portugal. But in the case of LittleBigPlanet 2 I prefer to make an exception because it is a game for all the family, my girlfriend quite liked the first edition of LittleBigPlanet and should also enjoy this second, so I prefer to be in a language which he understands well. It, anyway, English text and audio are also on the disc and can be selected if I so desire.
It seems that there is a tendency in English did not leave more games with various European languages on disk, probably a protectionist measure demanded by other European countries, where prices of Playstation games 3 are higher, and the Residents end buying stores English as ShopTo because it is cheaper and quickly get (within the European Union). With the English hard not counting the native language of Spanish and Portuguese, these local traders end up taking a certain advantage, in spite of the higher price. Even in Portuguese and Spanish versions of games that have dubbing this information is prominent on the cover.
A Offerhouse é sediada em Hong Kong, but offers games in both Asian version (Chinese) as in the U.S. version. The LittleBigPlanet 2 these two versions are available. Optei had peeled U.S. version, featuring the English, Spanish and Portuguese. The disc U.S. already has almost all the languages of America, because it is sold by Sony in Brazil, just change the cover that is translated from English into Portuguese. But do not be fooled, Portuguese of the disc is still in Portugal, as well as what is on the disc sold by Sony in Brazil. This country does not have enough attention from Sony to make games with the Portuguese of Brazil, and probably never will as this incompetent government continue with this absurd tax burden on videogames and videogames. Curiously U.S. version does not bring the French language among, then Canada should have its own version with a different disk, because the games there usually always have available both English and French as the cover disk (my Need For Speed Shift Trouxe had to lá). Who does not care about the voice acting / text in Portuguese LittleBigPlanet 2 may opt for Asian version (Chinese), that at the time of writing this article is costing $6 USD (U.S. dollars two) cheapest, and has both English and Traditional Chinese.
Besides the issue of language, another reason I opted for Offerhouse faith that has ShopTo rose slightly and the price of the releases, even though they cost much less than in Brazil, often are priced comparable to the Offerhouse, formerly more expensive. Furthermore, shipping them by registered (with tracking) subiu to £ 7,08. No trace remains costing only £ 2,50. Eu, particularly, always comprei na ShopTo sem and never tive tracking problems, but at the time the tax was a bit inconvenient because I only found out when the notice arrived, and by not giving notice to know what it was for just having a tracking code created by the Post Office in Brazil, I waited and also other packages without tracking (never before has a package without tracking mine was taxed). The freight Offerhouse costs $4,00 USD with tracking, this also helps her prices to be more attractive in some cases.
Add to that the fact that there was a wave of tax package ShopTo at the end of last year, I had already done 17 shopping in ShopTo in 2010 without being taxed, I ended up having after the first 2011 (Gran Turismo 5) with tax. Happily, for those who want to buy in ShopTo, it seems that the wave is over taxation and packages again get no tax in most cases. Maybe I'll go back there to buy when prices are more than those of convidadivos Offerhouse.
As for the game, the LittleBigPlanet 2 is a gorgeous sequence, keeping all the elements that made the original successful and improving it with new accessories that make the game more fun. I recommend review da IGN for those who want to know more about the game, because so far played only a few stages of Story mode, and really liked what I saw. Start, Story option is only available. To gain entry into the Community and other options you must go through the first stages.
The purchase on Offerhouse was made in 26/01/2011, and sent the same day, coming 25/02. A period of one month is excellent, because there are packages in November / December that the only couriers are delivering now. O pacote veio declarado como “USED DVD” (the other time was “Toys”) no value $18 USD. The package also comes marked as "Gift" and this time the sender is an individual named "Jesse Braga" (the other time was “André Vinicius). The package was not taxed.
Through the tracking number I see by the Hongkong Post website that the package left Hong Kong in 05/02, by mail and see that he was awarded in Brazil 18/12 and was delivered in 25/02:
|25/02/2011 17:37||CSD (Removed)||Delivered|
|25/02/2011 10:38||CSD (Removid0)||Out for delivery|
|22/02/2011 16:05||CDD SUMARE – SUMARE / SP||Routed|
|In transit to CTC CAMPINAS – VALINHOS / SP|
|18/02/2011 08:53||BRAZIL – BRAZIL / XX||Awarded|
|Received / Brazil|
The curious thing here is that the package was a ride there Sumaré / SP that is totally out of the route of the Post Office to get here. Even the CEP came circulated in package, signal that someone in Sumaré saw that the package was sent wrong and sent back to Campinas – Valinhos / SP to correct the mistake. At least managed to fix the error and deliver the package to 3 days late.
