Thermos 500 ml stainless steel

For some time now I've been looking for a bottle to carry on backpack that met the following requirements:

  • Ability to store at least 500 ml.
  • Wide mouth for easy filling in a cooler.
  • That does not leak at all, not to spoil anything inside the backpack.
  • Beak that is easy to drink water, but that also stay protected without contact with other stuff in the bag.
  • Preferably thermal.
  • Preferably of stainless steel.
  • Doesn't cost ridiculously expensive.

Doesn't seem hard, but is! Several more cheap plastic bottles I tested, some I won like toast, all have failed in terms of not leaking. Furthermore, the nozzles are often not properly protected, or release very little water. The plastic can still squeeze out more water, but not metal does not.

Local trade found several options, but any given all counts. So I decided to get on the Internet and finally found these Thermoses from stainless steel 500 ml:

I decided to take my chances and fortunately I was wrong. They store 500 ml, the mouth is wide and can fill in trough my work without major problems, the beak is well protected, even with latch. No leaks in any position. For water is also easy, simply open the latch and press the button to open the lid.

The lock is only necessary when I keep the bottle in the bag, so that the button is not activated accidentally and her open. She is of stainless steel and is actually thermal. The wall is twofold, the water stays cold longer than in a common bottle. And still has the advantage of the bottle not to sweat even with very cold water. So you can store it in the bag even when the water is still cold, without spoiling anything inside.

Por fim, the price was also good. Cost R$ 33,90 each. Is not necessarily cheap, but it is less than several models of that brand or answer all questions. And it's not more than double a bottle thermal aluminum not in local businesses.

A Thermos 500 ml stainless steel has no identifiable brand. In the box there is only the name of the importer: “Punctual Exp. and Imp. Ltda”, the product is described as “Stainless canteen – 500 ml”. The origin is China and the weight is 365 grams.

So far I am quite satisfied with the Thermos 500 ml stainless steel and my evaluation is positive.
