In this article I talk about the Polar heart rate sensor H7, acquired on eBay, from the seller sustuu from the store sustuu.
I purchased a Polar heart rate Monitor for more than 15 years. It worked fine in the early years, but eventually the sensor battery started to fail. Is a built-in battery that can't be replaced, at least not without destroying the whole stuff. Finally the entire sensor dried out and began to disintegrate. The watch/wrist monitor, on the other hand, works until today. But without the sensor it is only a watch that cost dearly.
Still trust in the Polar brand, at least more than the generic Chinese brands. The Polar heart rate sensor H7 It seemed a good thing. He does not follow clock, but is Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth 4.0, Bluetooth LE – low energy) and connects directly with the mobile, passing data directly to applications such as Runkeeper ou o Polar Beat, that is his own manufacturer.
The Bluetooth Smart ensures low energy consumption. There's nothing to turn on/off the sensor, so I assume he calls automatically when there is activity on electrodes. The Polar heart rate sensor H7 also has the advantage of allowing the battery change. He is also detachable fabric strap with electrodes, Unlike my old Polar where the sensor was not detachable strap.
The price of Polar heart rate sensor H7 in Brazil is a little high, like everything. So it's worth buying it abroad. He cost me AU $ 69,58 (Australian dollars), What was converted in time for R$ 181,33, including freight. That's less than a third of the price that it cost in Brazil.
The Polar heart rate sensor H7 came packaged in original box, with instructions in English, French, German and Spanish. Interestingly in the package also came a folhetinho in Portuguese with Anatel's approval for the product. Why put this item in the European version of the device? I do not know.

Arrived trying to pair it with the strava?
Came to pair him with strava? I couldn't, not had Saint who did work, until I saw an ad of strava community that is incompatible. I was pretty frustrated.
I couldn't. He even showed up in the list of devices, but it didn't work.
@Northon, I have the H7 and in fact does not work with Strava. But I used for a long time with the Runtastic and always worked fine. Today no longer use because I bought a clock Amazfit Xiaomi, you already have this function.
Good night, how you managed to pair the strap with the runkeeper because here I'm not getting but with strava works normally.
Good night mauricio,
I remember that was a little tricky with Runkeeper, It only worked when I wanted, but had no special configuration.
With the Strava I couldn't pair. He's just been consistent even with the Polar Beat.
After I bought the Amazfit Pace just not using more Polar H7.
