The Mebeverine hydrochloride 200 mg has been used to combat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. The most famous medicine, and apparently one of only two, with this compound is the Duspatalin, that's pretty expensive, costing around R$ 300,00 in the package with 60 pills, that lasts 30 days using the Posology of the bull.
Making a record with the lab Abbott You can get discounts, but still the medicine is still quite expensive. Looking for a generic version of Duspatalin I ended up stumbling upon the Rubenti. Is exactly the same component: Mebeverine hydrochloride 200 mg.
But the similarities don't stop there. To my surprise, both drugs are manufactured by the same lab, the Abbott. I compared the bulls and they are also identical, only changing the name of the medicinal product. The pharmacist responsible is also the same. Both are made in the same laboratory in the Netherlands, encapsulated in the same laboratory in France and packed in the laboratory Abbott in Rio de Janeiro.
By the same laboratory would do two drugs identical just with different names? That's what I would like to know.
But the fact is that the Rubenti It's cheaper. Even with the record in the laboratory Duspatalin still more expensive. Buying over the Internet (and no record), both come out cheaper than the local pharmacy (even with a record). And Rubenti It's still cheaper than the Duspatalin.
My guess is that the marketing is directed to the Duspatalin. The representatives shall submit the Duspatalin doctors. Furthermore, given that there is this register that asks for the CRM of the physician who prescribed, It is very likely that doctors receive Commission for sales of Duspatalin. That would explain the higher price, covering such expenses. But all this is just conjecture on my part. I could be wrong.
I ended up making the first purchase in Farmagora, where Rubenti from 60 cost R$ capsules 112,87, with R$ freight 11,85. The next I found even better prices, as I'll show in the next articles.
Check out the photos Rubenti:
This was my first purchase of medicine over the Internet (excluding the Kirkland Minoxidil). Was one of the few types of items I bought in local shops. But now I realize I can save that too. And the time in which the pharmacies of Unimed were cheaper than the other. Worth search.
