Who monitors the Skooter Blog you know that I like a lot of the games of the Fifa series from EA Sports. And I end up buying every year, Although the evolution is little from one year to the next, it is the title I most game, mainly online.
Of 1996 a 2004 I had all the Fifa PC, since when they were distributed by Tec Toy, through the first version with narration in Portuguese, to the stage where the decline began and Pro Evolution Soccer (Winning Eleven) began to show better.
My return to the series occurred in 2010, When I purchased the version of Fifa 10 for or Playstation 3. Thereafter I came to buy Fifa every year, having jumped only Fifa 13, because I refused to buy in Brazil and pay more to have the narration in Portuguese. Until then I had been buying European versions only, that were cheaper.
Check out the articles here at Skooter Blog on each of the Playstation Fifa I evaluated:
- Fifa 10 (Playstation 3)
- Fifa 11 (Playstation 3)
- Fifa 12 (Playstation 3)
- Fifa 14 (Playstation 4)
- Fifa 15 (Playstation 4)
- Fifa 16 (Playstation 4)
- Fifa 17 (Playstation 4)
And now let's go to Fifa 18. As of costume, I prefer to leave detailed analysis for specialists, what step in my analysis are just my impressions.
Fifa 18 It is the first of FIFA I play in 4K and HDR, on account of Playstation 4 For and by Sony XBR TV-55X905E, which I will speak soon. The picture is fantastic. Not being a heavy game, it can use real 4K, without interpolation.
Still do not understand very well the new system to beat kicks and penalties. I not used to it as well with novelty and fumble me enough.
When the ball stops and there are players tired, there is an option to press R2 rapidly and see a suggested replacement. Simply press X to accept it. I found a very welcome change, it gives replace players tired at the end of the game without having to be pausing.
Has over a new wave of James Leifert and Caio Ribeiro sentences. The narration and commentary has been improving every year, increasing the variety and avoiding the constant repetitions that were seen in previous editions.
Brazilian teams remain without real players, which is rather unfortunate. But it is still lack of organization of clubs and players unions, that are not organized. It's hard to get EA individually negotiating with each club, and it is certainly unfeasible get negotiating rights individually with each player.
In the article on the Fifa 17 I mentioned that I had not tried the story mode, and practically only played online seasons. Well, an hour I got tired of seasons and went to check in story mode. And I liked! I found enough interesting plot.
One negative, however, It is that there is a level of difficulty that I suits me. “Beginner”, “Amador”, and “Semi-Pro” They are too easy, Grace does not play. The “Professional” it is challenging, but in this case I need to do my best to win the match. And in the story mode is not enough to win, You have to win and still make the protagonist, Alex Hunter, stand out in the game, getting a good grade.
After finishing the story mode, the game itself suggests move to the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), taking Alex Hunter there. And that's, for the first time in a FIFA, I began to get a taste for FUT. Always I found it very difficult to stay riding teams, seeing rapport and everything, but then I was understanding and liking.
As I had accumulated a lot of points to spend, It was easy to get those bonus 1.000 coins per game and put together a team with players only gold easily. But there comes a time that the bonus end and you earn coins per game barely enough to renew players' contracts. That's where the FUT gets boring. The development team has just. And that's when I stopped with Fifa 17 and I play other styles of play.
With the Fifa 18 I even started playing the story mode, but I did not have much patience. Right away they brought Alex Hunter to play naked in a favela in Rio de Janeiro. I do not understand this fixation that foreigners have for slum. I do not even quite understand why someone who was born and lives in the first world will come to know Brazil, if only by the beautiful natural scenery. I would not come. Worse is yet to come and still want to know favela.
Then I went straight to the FUT. Even having received the game at launch, I realized I was playing very well groomed with good teams and players. How they were so fast? I mounted my Gold team also, but soon the few bonus over and was again stalled. Pretty much just took the best teams that my. And you can not improve the team because the coins are scarce. Business is getting annoying…
Ultimately, I ended up concluding that it is unfortunately FUT pay-to-win. Or you do nothing in life besides playing, or you will need to shell out real money to have a better team than their opponents. That's pretty frustrating. And I refuse to be paying to evolve in a game for which I have paid to acquire. I left the FUT.
Lately I've played the Seasons online. I've played six of them and went up until you reach the fifth division, where I am currently. In previous versions of the game I have arrived on Wednesday. For now I'm having fun, win or lose. I have found good opponents, and the games are being played and very interesting. When teams are at the same level the game becomes fun. FUT gets boring by unevenness account. It's only opponent with better team most of the time. In the online seasons the game just gets annoying when there is latency, and this brings me to the downside of Fifa 18.
There is an unforgivable and unjustifiable slutty EA that needs to end and I will explain. No FUT, when we find an opponent appears just one small bar that indicates the latency between your connection and his. This is essential. The rod has 5 positions. If she does not stabilize in the two highest (green), You may quit the game because it is going in the right anger. If the green bars go ahead. But if you are in Yellow, red or even swings, run! There is no penalty for leaving the game so. That's great! The problem is that there is this small bar in Online Seasons out of FUT. There is simply no way to see the latency before entering the game. And after entering you can not leave unpunished.
So I ask: For that, SHE? Why not put the rod latency ALL online games? Only FUT games are important? It is to encourage only play in FUT where you pluck the more money? It's very slutty!
Ultimately, My conclusion is that the Fifa 18 It remains a good game, is very good graphics and sound, é fun, but urgently needs to fix these flaws to remain relevant.
I do not know which foot is the PES, pois as últimas versões dele que joguei são muito antigas e estavam bem fracas.
A small bar of latency before the game in FUT is not perfect, after the latency may be low before the game and suddenly increase, but she already resolved in most cases. It has no reason to continue keeping it as the exclusive FUT. I've already paid for the game, I am not obliged to shell out more money in FUT for fun.
