At first it was just a book, the Master System. But with the success of the first, the Publisher Europe decided to launch the OLD File Collection!Complete gamer, with books on the Super Nintendo, the PlayStation, the Mega Drive, the MSX, the Atari 2600 and Nintendo (8 bits). It as I commented here in Skooter Blog, I got this collection on pre-sale and I was getting the volumes as they were released.
Then came the announcement of the second season, with the following books:
The first season was very interesting for me, because covered five consoles I have, four of them from my childhood. But I ended up not working me too with the second season, because I never had any of these consoles. When they did succeed I was more interested in PCs (and the ease of getting games for him). I came to install a Nintendo 64 to a neighbor ungrateful, but neither threw. I got to play a little with the Game Boy to a friend. Saturn, Neo Geo and 3DO only played in emulators. And Arcades I've never been a big frequenter, today's game in MAME than at that time. Then the second season was something I was going to let it go.
Then came the announcement of the third season, with 7 volumes:
- Arcade – Part 2
- Dreamcast
- Turbografx 16
- Playstation 2
- Jaguar
- Game Boy Advance
- PC – Part 1
The third season also didn't call me a lot of attention. Again are consoles that I didn't have contact, except for the Playstation 2 I played with friends. THE PC – Part 1 will bring the games of the Decade 80. I just went to have a PC in 1994. I must have played some games of the 80, but probably not many.
But then along comes a promotion that I considered reasonable. Was to acquire the second and the third complete season + 2 mugs by R$ 470,00 in 12 times. I ended up closing.
I closed the day 29/06/2018, e eis that day 18/07 the first five volumes of the second season: Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Neo Geo, 3The, and Game Boy. Also came the two mugs. Check out the photos and video of the unboxing:
Despite my interest in such smaller islands I've read the first four volumes and I'm reading now of Game Boy. The stories are always interesting.
The first collection I used the guides to remind you something nice to play in my old consoles. With this second I use the guide is useful to find out something interesting to play in emulators.
Until I used one of my free tickets Pleasuredome to download a Redump package with 532 GB Saturn ISOs and have set up my Retroarch to run them. The massive package of No-Intro with all the ROMs of Nintendo 64 and Game Boy I've ever had and was already configured. The Neo Geo I already had everything downloaded and configured for the games on cartridges in MAME, but now also downloaded the CD collection. And the 3DO should be next in line.
Now is to wait for the book Arcades – Part 1 It should arrive soon and then the third season.

C the third season on promotion and won the mugs.
I had contact, Although superficial, with almost all consoles, because alive in stores always have available a 3DO or Jaguar. So well worth reading the collections to remember old times.
