The Samsung 970 EVO 500 GB – NVMe PCIe M. 2 2280 SSD (MZ-V7E500BW) was acquired in US Amazon for use with the 2º Synology 4 Bay on the DiskStation DS918 + (Diskless).
The acquisition was made with two other items, including the SanDisk 1TB Ultra 3D NAND SATA III SSD, of which I spoke in the previous article.
These purchases were for my work, and involve a complicated accountability. Therefore, I couldn't use a redirection service like I do with my own purchases to pay less. Instead, I made the purchase with shipping to Brazil directly by Amazon, paying all taxes in advance. Opted for the cheapest shipping and the package came through i-parcel.
The Diskstation DS918 + It allows up to two SSDs NVMe PCIe devices M.2, to be used as cache. With an SSD cache is read only, to avoid data loss. With two of them, acting in RAID 1, the cache is read and write.
