Nobody knows for sure exactly what new functions will be present at the SD2SNES Pro, but the FPGA Changes Cyclone IV opens many possibilities. One of them is to run games of Game Boy, without needing Super Game Boy. Other improvements in the ikari is already working include Save states fully functional (including the State of the audio) and a turbo mode for the Super FX.
