Recently shown here on the Blog Skooter review Phones System Wireless Panasonic KX-TGF574S. At the time I mentioned I installed the application on mobile “Link p/ Cell” (“Link to Cell”) so it ajustasse date and time of the telephone system automatically. As the cell maintains the correct time always through the operator's information, I do not have to worry about adjusting the phone periodically.
But I started to notice that eventually the phones had incorrect date and time. If I do not interfere, returned to normal after some time. I soon realized what was happening.
By default, the Wireless phone system Panasonic KX-TGF574S also adjusts the date and time according to the information provided by fixed-line operator. This information comes from FSK protocol, along with the caller ID. Then the mismatch happened whenever someone would call my landline.
In the case of fiber Vivo, the date and time that come are those set in Vivo ONT, which in my case is Askey RTF3505VW-N1. With the release of firmware that is installed (BR_SV_g000_R3505VWN1001_s26) it just does not let you adjust the date and time at all. Or by the custom operator interface, or by standard interface. In previous versions of the firmware had even the menu to this, but simply removed. Things Vivo…
When the ONT is in router mode (router) it synchronizes the time with any server on the Internet, so always gets the right time. But I use Askey RTF3505VW-N1 mode bridge (ponte), because I prefer to keep my ASUS RT-AC86U as a router. Thus the Askey RTF3505VW-N1 does not adjust the time. starts in 01/01/1970 when turned on and has thereafter. At the time of writing this article it is in 06/02/1970 and there is nothing I can do.
I could even leave two routers, NAT 1:1, all that gambiarra, but Askey RTF3505VW-N1 with Vivo BR_SV_g000_R3505VWN1001_s26 firmware does not allow the use of NAT Loopback, which is essential for me.
I have no solution to the Askey RTF3505VW-N1, but not Wireless phone system Panasonic KX-TGF574S the solution is easy. Just set it to not set the date and time from the data sent by the service provider. Although hidden, there is an option for that documented in the manual: in one of the headphones, just press MENU + #226. Will appear the option “Time adjust”, which defaults to “Caller ID auto”. Just switch to “Manual” and save.
Now my Wireless phone system Panasonic KX-TGF574S adjusts the time just from my phone, that is with the application “Link p/ Cell” (“Link to Cell”). The adjustment usually occur whenever the phone connects to the phone via Bluetooth. From então, date and time in KX-TGF574S They are always right.
