Recently the third book of the third season arrived, the TurboGrafx-16, What is the Volume 16. This edition covers the console of NEC and Hudson Soft, which in Japan is known as PC Engine.

The package of Publisher Europe remains poor, but this time miraculously Correios did not wrinkle the book. Check out the photos and the video of the unboxing:

O TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine never officially arrived in Brazil. I've never seen any in person, I didn't see your games at video stores. In the USA the TurboGrafx-16 was a success but it was no match for Sega and Nintendo. However, in Japan the PC Engine sold much more than the Mega Drive, second only to the Super Nintendo in its generation.

For being the first console to have games on CDs, the PC Engine has some great games, like Valis III, which is graphically inferior to the Mega Drive, but it has a great soundtrack on CD. I'm still reading the book, currently in the accessories part, but I am sure that I will discover other interesting games.

This was the volume I most calmly read so far. This console has always piqued my curiosity and didn't know much about its games.
I admit that, if the price eventually drops, I will buy the Pc Engine Mini.
