The Xanova Magnetar RGB Mechanical Keyboard XK700 Switch Cherry MX Brown, XK714C3RGABK2BBRG was acquired in Submarino. He has layout complete and follow the pattern ABNT 2, including the semicolon on the numeric keypad, something that is rare. It also has RGB backlighting with multiple modes., and Cherry MX switches Brown, the best known brand and the silent model with tactile feedback. A Xanova is a brand of Galax, known in Brazil for video cards.

The Mechanical Keyboard Jus HV-KB370L RGB still in perfect working order. Even the switches Outemu, that a lot of people say they don't have good quality control, haven't failed so far. The only problem is that some commonly used keys started to lose ink and smudge the painted character, something I expected would happen sooner or later.
A feature of the Jus HV-KB370L RGB is that he is quite noisy, what is due to switches Outemu Blue. At the time I already preferred the brown switches, but it was something I gave up because there simply wasn't a keyboard with all the features I wanted.
The noise never bothered me much, but my wife eventually complained. With the birth of my daughter the keyboard became more problematic, since I often left her napping beside me in the stroller, while I worked and kept an eye on her. But in these cases I had to be typing with the utmost care, losing speed and getting in the way of something I do often, which is to type sentences quickly while I formulate them.
I realized it was time to change keyboards. But to go back to membrane keyboards no way, those who are used to mechanical keyboards don't want to give up. The way was to look for a keyboard with switches quieter, preferably the Cherry MX Brown.
But I also didn't want to give up other requirements.: I wanted a full keyboard, layout ABNT2, including the numeric keypad with the dot and the comma, which is something I use a lot. Unfortunately many keyboards are said to be ABNT2, but you don't have the correct numeric keypad, even being expensive and famous brands (oi Corsair!).
Backlighting is also always a welcome thing.. Help to quickly type something at night without having to turn on the light. RGB is bonus, pois aumenta os quadros por segundo. 🙂
Por fim, os switches são os Cherry MX Brown, justamente os que eu queria, the brand that is the market leader and the model that is silent but still has tactile feedback.
The Xanova Magnetar RGB XK700 comes with a separate gel wrist rest, which is very nice as it has the exact size of the keyboard. Another cool feature is the software RGB Keyboard Xtreme TunerPlus, that lets you adjust lighting effects more conveniently than with keyboard shortcuts, and also allows the creation of macros. The base has an aluminum plate and the cable uses textile mesh and gold-plated plug.
Not to say that everything is perfect, the keys don't have injection double-shot, technology that consists of pressing two pieces of plastic together, the external being transparent, so the character never wears or peels. Instead the keys are painted and enveloped. Over time the paint can wear and peel. happened in my Jus HV-KB370L RGB. I hope it doesn't happen in Xanova Magnetar, or at least that doesn't happen anytime soon.
The purchase of the Xanova Magnetar RGB XK700 Mechanical Keyboard
The product came very well packaged, with your box inside another box. Check out the photos and the video of the unboxing and the keyboard in operation:
Tests and Prints
The first impression of the Xanova Magnetar RGB XK700 Mechanical Keyboard was very good. It's very nice to type with him. Although not as quiet as a membrane keyboard it is much quieter than the Jus HV-KB370L RGB.
In the past I thought it was weird keyboards where the keys are floating, without a base around. Now I think it's even better, because it gets less dirty and easier to clean, since dust, hair strands, biscuit bran (who never?) can come out the sides easily, be naturally, be with a blower.
The software on the Xanova do Brasil website did not work on my PC, crashing right after starting every time I tried to use. What worked was the Xtreme Tuner Plus, which can be downloaded from the Galax website in English.
to leave the Xanova Magnetar even quieter i installed o-rings on all keys, but I'll leave this subject for another article.. For now I just leave this video with the result:
the o-rings were purchased from the Shopee at this link.

I am quite satisfied with the Xanova Magnetar RGB XK700 Mechanical Keyboard. The construction is very good and the switches Cherry MX Brown are excellent. It has everything I could want in a mechanical keyboard., except for the keys that are not double–shot. After two and a half months of use, the painting of the keys is still perfect, so it's too early to say how long they last. From the rest he has everything: layout completo ABNT2, even with the numeric keypad implemented correctly with the comma and period keys. Tem retroiluminação RGB, software control, multimedia shortcuts, Windows Explorer and calculator, and easy volume adjustment with the rotary knob.
Not exactly a cheap keyboard, but unfortunately there is no other that offers the same features.. i would buy it again today.
